A well known equipment manufacturer made a
machine capable of spraying UV-curable epoxy-based ink suitable for printing
legend (the white letters and human-readable markings) onto a bare printed
circuit card. After making the
hardware, they needed software that would help their users set up the printing
operation. They turned to GCA to
provide software that helped users view the circuit board data, and control
the placement, orientation and content of variable fields and printable
images. The software precisely
controlled alignment and image distortion to assure that each image was
printed to exactly match the actual manufactured part to very close
tolerances. GCA also provided the
raster engine that is imbedded in the legend printer hardware. |
