PCB test engineers had to rely on visual inspection to assure they had placed test points on all areas of a bare circuit board that might later be connected to a component.  With boards sometimes having thousands of connections, any visual process is time consuming, tiring and error prone.  GCA addressed the problem with software that automatically scanned the data to find all geometry that might be a test point.  GCA went further by analyzing which of these accessible points needed to be contacted in order to fully test the board.  The result was a test with higher reliability in less time and with less fatigue then ever before.
